Facility & Maintenance Coordinator Benelux

 

Your responsibilities

 

Facility Management

·Making  sure the maintenance  of the buildings is guaranteed (stores, showrooms, HQ), and  support  the HQ Procurement Department in the negotiation of             service contracts with Facility Management providers
·Management of the local suppliers of the company in terms of operational execution of their service contracts
·Supporting the HQ Procurement Department in the follow-up and the renewal of contracts of service providers, and follow up of the contract administration
·Determination and ensuring of the follow-up of the budgets, evaluation of appropriate cost levels for all the different facility management activities
·Ensuring of permanent relationships with internal customers, and guarantee of the security of persons and of properties in all areas
·Constant participation  in business meetings to understand the  business´ decisions and the corresponding needs of employees  and to provide appropriate                  solutions
·Involvement in openings , rebuilding and store closings
·Handing over locations to landlords
 

Maintenance

·Regular monitoring of all retail locations
·Monitoring of compliance e.g. general safety , all operational and legal requirements
·Monitoring the performance of service providers
·Demand a repair offer and compare all offers in accordance with Procurement Guideline and aligning with Central Procurement
·Elimination of small defects or damages
·Communication with authorities
 

Prevention Advisor Level II (for Belgium)

·Role  mandatory by Belgian law with a.o. risk inventory, first aid workers, fire prevention, ergonomics, member of Safety  Comittee
 

Your profile 

 

Ideally 2 to 3  years of maintenance or facility coordinator  position(s) in a similar business environment

Knowledge of overall craftsmanship

Strong communicative  and negotiation skills

Organizational talent

- Bachelor's Degree , preferably in related area

- Perfect knowledge of Dutch, French and English

- Experience in technical matters or keen on  acquiring them
