Your tasks

• You are responsible for establishing and promoting a data-driven mindset culture within and between teams
• You will be responsible for the transfer and formulation of data science strategies based on business requirements
• You are responsible for translating data strategies into concrete action plans that include data collection, data preparation, statistical analysis, data modeling and algorithm development
• You are responsible for analyzing and interpreting data patterns, relationships, and trends and communicating the appropriate insights to the appropriate stakeholders
• You will be responsible for leading the analysis of various structured and unstructured data - e.g. customer transactions, customer reviews, product data, behavioral data, market data, web analytics, etc.
• You will be responsible for analyzing the latest trends in data science technologies and artificial intelligence
• You've got profound practical experience in various fields of data science - descriptive, diagnostics, predictive and prescriptive analyses
• You are responsible for the disciplinary and technical management of the employees in the corresponding area of responsibility and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety and all legal regulations serving the protection of employees

Your skills

• You have a degree with a focus on computer science, data science, econometrics or business administration as well as several years of professional experience in a similar position
• You bring in-depth, hands-on experience in various areas of data science - descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics
• You have Microsoft user skills
• You have experience with technologies such as Azure Databricks, Azure Datalake, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI
• You bring excellent programming skills in SQL, Python, and Pyspark
• You have strategic thinking, conceptual strength, and strong analytical skills
• You already have some leadership experience
• You have business fluent German and English skills
