Working at Esprit
Working at Esprit means enabling a good work-life balance. Our employees are offered the opportunity to work on a mobile basis within Germany two days a week. Depending on the department and job requirement, it is also possible to arrange additional days or to work completely remote.
Currently, we work with trust-based working hours, which gives our employees the opportunity to offer a high degree of flexibility beyond the core working hours.
Canteen
Our canteen serves a diverse menu of nutritious and delicious meal choices for breakfast and lunch along with various snacks throughout the day. The canteen works with fresh, top quality and mostly organic ingredients that are carefully selected and mostly regionally grown. In the morning, the canteen offers an extensive breakfast buffet, various types of coffee drinks, along with fruits and snacks. At lunchtime you can choose between main dishes (including vegetarian options) that change daily along with a delicious salad bar. For dessert you can enjoy healthy fruit, different kinds of cakes as well as smoothies. Our chefs place great emphasis on creativity and attention to detail.
Unique architecture
The building’s design reflects our lifestyle at Esprit: the remarkable architecture creates an open atmosphere and inspiring place to work. There are currently around 1,200 employees working within this architecturally unique building, representing more than 40 nationalities.
Easy to reach
The train station "Ratingen Ost" is only a few minutes walk by foot to the Esprit Headquarters. We also offer a public transit subsidy for employees who commute via public transportation. If you’re driving, you can easily reach us by car: the A44 and A3 highways are only 2 minutes away from our Headquarters in Ratingen.
Parking
If you arrive with a car, you can take advantage of the large employee parking garage located directly underneath the Headquarters’ building where you can conveniently park.
Parents at Esprit
We are happy to support our parents. We offer parental leave as required by law in each country and we also support and motivate fathers to take parental leave.
In addition, we offer financial support to our working mums. Once an employee decides to return part-time, the mother receives a childcare allowance of €200 per month.

Esprit Cares
Anyone can join the Esprit Cares team. At Esprit Cares, you have the opportunity to get involved socially. Through Esprit Cares, our employee-led volunteer group, there are plenty of ways to meet other colleagues while doing community development. From charity runs and volunteer opportunities, to planting trees and donating to schools, Esprit Cares enables employees to give back to the community and is a testament to Esprit’s commitment to be a brand with meaning.
We are also involved in community and family initiatives, such as charity work in Germany and other countries, supporting employees who need help, organizing sports events, awareness activities and ‘bring your family to work’ days. Esprit also supports the YES Center to help young women in countries such as bangladesh receive an education.
