Job Description:

As a Production Manager at ESPRIT, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination and execution of production processes, from order placement to final shipping. This is a highly administrative role that will require great attention to detail. Your expertise in textile and clothing management, along with your deep understanding of supply chain processes, will drive efficiency and excellence in our production operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and contribute to sourcing strategies by closely monitoring vendor production performance and providing valuable feedback to the VP of Sourcing and Product Development team.
• Oversee the entire bulk production process, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and on-time delivery, right from the production country to the final shipment.
• Act as the key liaison between agents/vendors and the Merchandise Operation Team, resolving any discrepancies in order placement and coordinating necessary amendments.
• Ensure timely submission of final Fit approval samples to the Technical Design Team, facilitating the approval process and maintaining product quality.
• Manage work-in-progress (WIP) according to production milestones to ensure optimal quality and timely delivery of products.
• Address and resolve any bulk production problems, collaborating with the QA and Product Safety Team to meet quality and testing requirements.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders to proactively address any production issues and ensure goods are manufactured to meet the required quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with the QA team to handle post-shipment issues, including claims and returns, to guarantee customer satisfaction and address any potential concerns.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with agents and vendors, promoting effective vendor management and partnership development.

• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, challenges, and best practices.
• Expertise in fabrics, technical development, and production processes, enabling informed decision-making and quality control.
• Proven negotiation skills and the ability to assertively drive outcomes that align with ESPRIT's goals.
• A solution-driven and hands-on mentality, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Exceptional analytical abilities to assess production performance and identify areas for optimization.
• Excellent organizational skills and a keen sense of timelines to manage production schedules effectively.
• Outstanding communication skills, facilitating clear and effective interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in English with good command of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in PDM/PLM and SAP systems, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in production management.
