Your tasks

  • You are responsible for monitoring store processes such as uploading sales data and downloading transmission data
  • You check software updates for cash registers and document installed hardware in new stores
  • You take over the inventory of cash registers and peripherals in the Remedy inventory database
  • You will be responsible for identifying and communicating with the network team regarding network inventory needs 
  • You will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and escalating tickets related to Esprit's partners regarding field service, omnichannel, and point-of-sale applications
  • You will support 1st level ticket processing and documentation in the Remedy ticket system 
  • You take care of the omnichannel infrastructure and devices at partners' sites
  • You take over the testing of new hardware and software before rollout and are responsible for the documentation of processes and technical configurations

    
Your skills

  • You have a degree in computer science / business informatics with initial professional experience, are an IT specialist combined with professional training and with broad professional experience in a comparable position or similar
  • You have practical knowledge in securing, testing, operating and optimizing IT infrastructures, good knowledge of client operating systems
  • You have knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection and software licensing management
  • You have good hardware knowledge in terms of client, server and peripheral equipment
  • You ideally have a working knowledge of SQL, POS hardware and software, and Apple mobile hardware and software
  • You have experience in customer service and are communicative 
  • You are business fluent in German and English
